Yes, we work on a Chapter 2 right now :) For the Steam release, the game will be completely open and all the quests (like the Patreon quests) will be available.
does anyone else have the problem of the game just absolutely stopping after you finish a quest like i can talk to people but at random points i just cant forward any quest im doing and sometimes i just cant forward any quest at all like its not theat i have to wait theres just no option

I was very happy when I saw the new update but my happiness was short lived because the final part is only for those who are able to pay for their Patreon(And I'm from a country that doesn't use dollars) in future updates will it continue like this? or you will leave the paid ending temporarily like a pre-sale
I'm stuck. I'm at the point where i need to collect the "Red Crystals" from the angry drones by killing them on drone expeditions. I have collected two of them, but I cannot collect a third to progress.
I have tried sleeping MANY days, talked to EVERYONE several times, no new dialogue at all. I've tried exploring and picking every path available to me, and I still cannot get the last Red Crystal. Any time I go to a drone expedition, I don't get a "!" on the second circle at the bottom of the screen, no matter how many times I try. (I've made at least 30 attempts, and still no dice.) Only "!" I get is the one on the last circle that gives the stupid challenge question "Do you wanna build a..." (To which, based on the nature of this parody. I would presume the answer is "Snowman" but apparently that's not it, didn't work when I tried it. But I digress, that's not the meat of this post.)
What the hell do I gotta do to progress and get the last Red Crystal. I'm getting pretty annoyed having wasted several hours to come to a dead end that I cannot seem to progress past.
I've tried everything, talking to everyone, I'm at a dead end. any help is appreciated.
Not every game makes it to a final version, but you managed to. So I give you my kudos and hope that your second chapter makes it as well as your first has. (If possible quicker. ;P)
The second one will be finished faster (faster than the first one for sure x) ) I have a small team working with me, and moreover, the new animations should be faster to make ( and more beautiful ahah )

As in the final update, does it mean no more for the whole game, or there will be a new chapter?
Also would love a way to buy Patreon Content without actually using Patreon: ie paying through itch or steam for DLC content

Try to turn on the PC, several times, it'll not work. Try to open drawers, also won't work.
Talk to Emee, ask her about the drawers and the PC, she'll give you some suggestions.
Open both drawers first, then activate PC, click power button again.
It powers on, scroll through options on screen. Click on Anna's Entry
Enter password "123ANNA123"
Follow prompts to download the dress blueprint
Replace one of the disks with dress
