So, I felt like the announcement of the new Tinker was met with some excitement here, so I took the liberty of putting together a little WIP to show you how the character was created!
A lot of people think our new Tinker is just an AI-generated image. I hesitated at first about whether I should respond, but I’d rather build a relationship based on trust with you, and (even if it breaks the magic a bit) show you the real work that goes into creating such polished characters 🪄

I managed to dig up as much as I could from our early creation steps — it’s been a while, I have to admit (we actually started working on this new Tinker back in 2024~).

We do a lot of pose research before finalizing a character — aside from the face, it’s really in the pose that you start to feel the soul and personality of a character.

And here, you can see how many layers we’re working with! Yep, our files are massive — but don’t worry, we’ve got good hard drives too, ahah! To wrap things up, I think it’s fair to say we really care about what we create. We’re genuinely trying to deliver a high level of visual quality for the upcoming OPT — and we’re giving it everything we’ve got to get there.

( That said, I’m telling you now: I’m not doing this full presentation for every single character! Ahah 😅 )

But honestly, in a time where more and more 2D games (And especially for NSFW games) just generate a random AI-made character and call it a day, we felt it was important to show you how we do things, properly.
