Hello everyone!

Welcome to, once again, a big newsletter!

I will try to be short, but there is a lot to say ahah
Today we are going to talk about the new things that will appear in chapter 2!
As you will see, a lot of things will change ahah
Last week, me and my team took a few days off to get ready for the end of Chapter 1 and the beginning of Chapter 2 and we took the time to think about the new things we're going to implement.

Even though there is still a lot of work to be done before this Chapter II finally arrives, it will be posted on Patreon as a direct continuation of the Chapter 1 updates, so we need to start working on it right away so there is no waiting for you.

IN A NUTSHELL, Regarding the new additions:

There are of course some things you are all waiting for:

- New characters ( Androids and Employees and Others )
- New sceneries
- New Quests, Corruptions etc etc

Currently, we have up to 7 new characters planned
(in addition to our beloved characters already in the game, Tinker, Emee, Melissandre etc)
and a lot of new scenery to do. Like really a lot.

The game takes place in a completely different atmosphere than the first one, the only setting that will not change is the headquarters.

Well... maybe not completely... well... you'll see ;)
But that's kind of expected. Now let's get to the REAL changes.

- The Drone will be upgradeable.

A whole new system of upgrades for the drone will be implemented, with removable parts that will allow several effects on the different expeditions that you will send it on. I think this is a mechanic that many have been waiting for, and it will finally arrive with this chapter II!

Second thing:

- A Quick Inventory!

This will help you to find your way around the current quests more easily, and will make the game more fluid.

I didn't want to create a "big" inventory that would clutter up and complicate the interface too much. I'm a fan of minimalist interfaces, and I think the result fits perfectly in this approach.

I even have a gif to show you ~

Here is the current prototype !

Just a deployable panel, some information and here it is. I think it will make a good difference in the next chapter and I'm really looking forward to start writing quests using it ~

And the big change:

- The Improvement of the Animations !

We're moving from a 2 frame animation to a 3 frame animation!

It may seem like nothing, but it's really a big step forward that will allow this next game to have even more immersive scenes.It will take more work, but me and my artists really think that the result will be felt immediately!

On top of that, there will be a lot of new things that I can't tell you at the moment without spoiling you.

To conclude,

I don't know if I was clear enough on this, so I'll just give you a little recap of what's going to happen in the next few months:

- Next month, we have the final update of chapter I who will be published on Patreon

- After that, the next update will be, well... the new chapter. So a new game. And this will follow like a normal update in fact ^^

- And while chapter II will be running on Patreon, chapter I in its "Official" version will be released on Steam!

( Which will allow you, I think, to wait for the next updates of chapter II eheh )
